Don’t Wait for Tomorrow, Apply Today

The College of Business offers both priority and final application deadlines for the Online MBA program to accommodate prospective students at all points in their business school search. If possible, we recommend applying by the priority deadline for your desired term for the following reasons:

  • We review applications on a rolling basis, which means early applicants may have a better chance of being offered a spot in an upcoming cohort
  • The earlier you are accepted, the more time you will have to prepare your finances and make plans to adjust your schedule to accommodate your coursework
  • Some scholarships and other sources of financial aid require you to identify where you will be attending school in order to apply; the sooner you know you are bound for Chico State, the sooner you’ll be able to complete these applications

Note: International students who reside outside the U.S. are not eligible for the Online MBA program.

State Authorization

At this time, Chico State is not legally authorized to offer distance education programs to residents of all states. We are in the process of requesting this authorization from states where we have yet to obtain it. For a list of states where we are currently authorized to offer this program or exempt form authorization requirements, please consult the Status of State Authorizations for Distance Education page.

Pursuant to the U.S. Department of Education's Program Integrity Rule, every institution of higher education is required to provide all prospective and current students with the contact information for the state agency or agencies that handle complaints against postsecondary education institutions offering distance learning within that state. Learn more about the CSU system’s process for handling these complaints.
