Application Requirements
Applicants to the Online Bachelor of Science in Business Administration completion program must submit the following materials:
- Online application
→ $70 application fee - Official Transcripts from all colleges attended. We accept official transcripts electronically or by mail.

If your institution offers secure electronic delivery, have them send transcripts directly from the originating institution to the Office of Admissions. If an email address is required, use info@csuchico.edu.

CSU Transfer Requirements
• Demonstrated experience in post-secondary studies through the completion of 60 semester units (90 or more quarters) of college credits from an accredited institution after high school graduation
• Completed at least 30 semester (45 quarter) units of general education courses
• Completed transferable courses with grades of C- or better in oral communication, written composition, and critical thinking
• Completed one transferable course with a grade of C- or better in college-level mathematics or quantitative reasoning
• A cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better in all transferable college courses attempted for CA residents and 2.4 or better for non-CA residents
Lower Division Program Requirements Courses
In addition, according to California State University application requirements, students applying to the Online BS in Business Administration completion program must have completed each of the following seven lower-division core courses, or the transfer equivalent, with a C- or higher. If all the lower-division prerequisites are not completed prior to entering the program, you will be limited to enrollment in BCOM 300W, MINS 301, or Upper division GE courses until you finish your lower-division business prerequisites. Students are advised to take MATH 107, but MATH 109 or MATH 120 will be accepted as substitutes. All lower division General Education and Business prerequisites can be taken at any California community college.

At this time, Chico State is not legally authorized to offer distance education programs to residents of all states. We are in the process of requesting this authorization from states where we have yet to obtain it.
